Dr.
Michael Tselepis BDSc, MDSc, FRACDS
You may be wondering what all those initials mean! To become an orthodontist you must first qualify as a dentist. This involves a 5 year full time university degree (BDSc). After 2-4 years of general dental practice one then applies to do a specialist orthodontic degree (MDSc). This is a 3 year full time university course. After graduation and 2-3 years of supervised training under a senior orthodontist you can finally register as a specialist orthodontist!
